The Hamilton Electric Desk Clocks are is clearly the rarest timepieces with Hamilton Electric movements and dials. They were not actually sold to the public but were dealer demos with a very limited production.  There are two very different case styles that were equipped with various dials from 1960ies symmetrical Hamilton Electric watches and the 505 movement. This is the rarer type and the more dramatic design of the two. Surprisingly they are not described in Rene Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" simply because of an oversight. In my 20+ years of collecting Hamilton Electrics I would say they are offered not even once every other year. This one is in good cosmetic condition with some scratches and oxidation, one is more obvious on the foot (see pic) but overall it is very presentable and has not been polished. It is in running condition but occasionally stops, so it will simply need a cleaning. PLEASE LOOK AT MY OTHER AUCTIONS!
