This is a lovely watch for anyone but particularly, perhaps, for those with an interest in the watches worn by the WWII Luftwaffe fighter pilots. It is a re-issue of the 1941 Flieger Chronograph ( reference 783-01) and is beautifully simple in its black dial layout. It has a sweep second, recording seconds and minutes, together with a bi-directional bezel which was used to help calculate the pilot's flight time. The crystal is sapphire and the lovely movement is visible in the photos shown. The two side pushers stop, re-set and start the watch.All other relevant information is shown above but if more is required I shall be happy to provide it.Please note that the watch box pictured in photo 1 is not the Tutima original. Also, in photo 3 the hands appear to be 'green' in colour. This is a trick of the light, the hands are the normal luminous colour as per the first photo.
