For years Mazzuoli had dreamed of designing an original watch to be different than any other. Mazzouli researched books and magazines on the subject of watches. He had great difficulty finding inspiration for the design that he'd dreamed of. He concluded that this method would only influence him to work on someone else's design. Creating something new, he would have to abandoned the initiative and threw out everything he had about watches. As time went on he saw a pressure gauge. In that moment he found his inspiration for his watch design. The Manometro - which is Italian for Pressure gauge. Mazzuolis inspiration came in the form of an everyday object. Giuliano Mazzuoli, who has two sons, work with him in the family business. While working together on the project of creating the Manometro, Mazzuoli discovered that one of his ancestors was a master watch-maker in a factory producing tower clocks in the Chianti region of Tuscany. By entering the world of fine watches, Mazzuoli is reclaiming his watch-making heritage but at the same time is bringing the world something new..   The featured watch is Giuliano Mazzuoli Manometro Sport "Rare Prototype" in 18k Rose Gold polished, black carbon fiber wrapped case, Fixed bezel, measuring 45mm. Automatic movement  with a shockproof system, Date calendar aperture at 3 o'clock. The Black Carbon Fiber Dial with White and Red Arabic numerals, White luminous Minutes markers around of the outer rim offers immediate legibility. White luminous Hands, Red-colored sweeping second hand with triangular pointer at center. Crown screw down quick set at 2 o'clock with red rubber ring. Anti-reflective scratch sapphire crystal, screw-in solid case back. Black Rubber strap with Clasp type pin buckle. Water Resistant 50 meters. Functions: Hour, Minute, Second. This is the Giuliano Mazzuoli Manometro Sport "Rare Prototype" watch ... Prototypes are very rarely available. I love the cleanness in the lines of this watch. It is different, uncompromising, but so practical. Its simplicity and blend of materials is sophisticated and its lack of frills is appealing. The combination of rose gold and black carbon fiber presents an easy to read dial at a glance. This is a great watch.It remains a favorite. It appeals to those with an eye for design and who want precision, functionality and reliability. The watch is exceptionally comfortable and wears well on the wrist.
