Originally, the company designed and produced jewelry and everyday items such as sunglasses which were then sold in a boutique located in Geneva. Gruosi introduced the use of black diamonds into many of his designs, which at the time was very unusual. With the success that followed he was quickly able to open boutiques in London, Gstaad, Rome, Paris, St. Moritz, Kuwait, Moscow and Hong Kong - all within the first five years. It wasn't until the year 2000 that Fawaz developed his first watch collection for de Grisogono, the Instrumento No Uno. The featured watch describe is the Grisogono Grande No4. polished Rectangle shape fully cambered, wrist-hugging profile stainless steel case, measuring 47.5x 40mm diameter. Fixed square bezel and a pair of mobile case horns. Automatic movement calibre GD 15-89, 42-hour power reserve. Displays a Black guilloche finishing and unique designed dial with rhodium  highly legible indexes with Superluminova hands, stick hour markers and Arabic numerals. Big double window date display at the 6 o'clock position. Sapphire crystal, and Skeleton caseback to view its intricate movement.
