Here we have a beautiful 1988 Audemars Piguet watch with solid 18k gold bezel and other details. The watch is in impeccable condition, the crystal is flawless and the watch shows minimal signs of wear. It also comes with the original Audemars Piguet brown leather box, with lovely sand coloured suede interior, very difficult to find with older watches. The watch was originally intended for men, however being a vintage watch, it is smaller and would suit a lady just as well as a man. TThe watch is on an original calf leather bracelet with ribbing, in fantastic condition. The bracelet is closed with a solid 18k gold AP clasp and will fit a 170mm wrist. The watch measures 32mm including crown. I have owned a number of vintage APs including variations of this model, the Meridian and this one is honestly one of the best examples I have seen. They are few and far between and not only are the watches rare but to find one with the original box doesn't really happen.I bought this from the original owner who purchased the watch in 1988 from Audemars Piguet and have more recent emails between him and AP confirming the purchase and providing validity to the watch. I have reduced the price of the watch to sell and it is now one of the cheapest APs you will find on ebay, and in far better condition than any of the watches in the same price point. So grab yourself a bargain on a timepiece from one of the world's most prestigious watchmakers.I also have a 1949 Rolex Oyster Royal with rare secondhand subdial and original sales receipt from 1949, a 1957 Rolex Oyster on original Oyster bracelet with a stunning champagne tropical patina to the dial and a very rare Jaeger LeCoultre with woven linen dial. I will be listing these as well, so should you be interested in any of these please don't hesitate to send me a message.I am happy to post the watch abroad, however please contact me first as this will require further postage costs and depending on where you are based, I can advise on potential import duty costs.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you.
