Watchmaker’s steel wheel cutting engine not dated but c. 1780. Measuring 12 inches in length, and a 6 inch diameter brass indexing plate with 6 or 7 rows (unlabelled) for cutting various numbers of teeth. This is as I found it and with no apparent restoration. It all works as it should, gear driven via a crank handle with a cutting frame that can be lifted up and down manually, though please be mindful that this is no longer the functional tool it once was but now a collector’s piece and for the serious collector of horological tools. Free Shipping Worldwide.
