It has an integral stainless steel link bracelet with a triple folding deployment clasp, and a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There are two crowns at 2 and 4 o'clock on the right-side case band; The push-down crown at 4 o'clock adjusts the GMT second time zone function, and the upper push-down crown adjusts the time, date, and alarm in various positions. It has a solid case back secur ed with 6 screws, and engraved around the perimeter with "MANUFACTURE GIRARD-PERREGAUX – TIME ZONE ALARM – AUTOMATIC," and a serial number in the center. The 38mm diameter two-body case, curved lugs, bracelet, and angled bezel are polished/brushed. The dial is black, with needle-tipped luminous steel baton hands, a center sweep seconds hand, and the GMT scale has a fourth hand with a red luminous indicator. The inner GMT track has white Arabic numerals and there is a perimeter railroad-style track with luminous Arabic numerals for the home time. There is an alarm aperture window at the 12 o'clock position, and a date window is at 6 o'clock. There is a 44-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Girard-Perregaux Traveler II 4940 has a mechanical automatic Girard-Perregaux caliber 225-917 movement.
