Chronographe Suisse vintage chronograph circa 1940s with incredible crazy patina on the dial. 35 mm case fitted with a German grey suede strap. Watch is running and keeping proper time at time of posting and chronograph is starting, stopping and resetting to zero as it should. However, as this is a vintage timepiece, 100% accurate timekeeping is not guaranteed. What to love: 1. Amazing patina on the dial which is even throughout. Tropical is a word that gets thrown around often, but here we have a prime example. 2. Blue Steeled hands look beautiful in the sun, unfortunately some of the luminiscent material has fallen off. 3. Very cool Landeron 248 movement which starts at top button and stops/resets on lower button. What to know: Some luminescent​ material has fallen from the hands. Although patina is very beautiful, it can make reading the tachymeter and telemeter scales somewhat difficult. Watch has been polished in the past and some of the lug holes have thinned. I have tried to describe the watch as best as possible but please refer to pictures as part of the description. I have taken pictures from different angles at different lights of the dial (it tends to change color from dark copper to orange/red depending on light.)
