The story of Denissov begins in 1951, when its founder, Vladimir Andréievitch Denissov, made his first steps on the watchmaking market (editor's note: can we speak of a market in a communist economy?), His years of experience as an engineer builder of the Moscow watchmaking factory 1 Poljot. Today, Denissov watches take advantage of ETA drafts to alter Poljot mythical calibres, thanks to the opening of markets, and offers models with a contemporary design, thus turning the page of the Soviet kitsch.The Aeronavigator chronograph is a watch with a strong identity, raw formwork, due to the particular shape of its case (round bezel and square box), visible screws that connect its different components, its matte black appearance and finally its dimensions (45mm wide for 14mm thickness).Equipped with the Poljot 31681 caliber, the Aeronavigator is equipped with chronograph functions with tachometric scale, minute and second counters, as well as date display and day / night display.The essential feature of the design of this collection consists of four red enamelled polished screws fixing the circle of the case to the back cover. The screws are attached to special protrusions. This closure makes it possible to achieve a waterproofing of 100 m. In addition, the polished stainless steel with red enamel on black matt background is very stylish. All this is complemented by the polished buttons of the chronograph and the winding wheel bearing the Denissov logo, with red enamel finish and red and red second hand hands.
