(Timings a bit fast) Keeps approx 45 minutes over 24 hours and is in excellent condition for its age apart from some very faint hairlines on the dial and minor chips around the edge (and winding hole at 3) on the dial, as seen in the pictures. This pocket watch has and alarm function so you can set the alarm hand to the desired time and when the power the the alarm is wound up the alarm will ring when the hands reach that time (See video fo a demonstration). It has a solid continental silver open face case with a silver mark and the makers mark "LJV". The case has engine turning, a fixed pierced and engraved silver dust cover with foliage decoration, and a large bell on the inside under the movement for the alarm. The dial is white enamel porcelain with separate dials for alarm and time, the small dial to the top is the alarm dial with key winding hole at 8 to give power to the alarm, and the larger dial at the bottom is the time dial which has arabic numerals, gold spade hands, and mainspring winding hole at 3. It has a clean glass crystal to protect the dial. The movement is a continental key wind, gilt full plate fusee and chain drive movement with a verge escapement and ornately pierced balance cock.
