Lange & Sohne 118.032 Cabaret Moonphase, 118032, 18k rose gold on a strap with an 18k rose gold buckle, manual wind caliber 931.5 movement, silver dial, date at 12 O'Clock, sub seconds at 6 O'Clock, moonphase display in the small seconds sub dial, display back, sapphire crystal, size: 25.5mm X 36.3mm, thickness: 9.1mm, Like New with original box and papers, not dated.
This is an 18K rose gold A. Lange & Sohne Cabaret Moon phase, 118.032. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k rose gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screwed down exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws, and a recessed quick date corrector on the band at 2 o'clock. The 25.5mm by 36.3mm curved art deco tonneau solid two-body case, beveled bezel, and curved lugs are polished/brushed. The dial is solid silver with applied gold radial Roman nume rals at the quarter hours, gold alpha hands, and small baton index markers. There is a gold-rimmed large double date window at the 12 o'clock position, and the moon phase subsidiary dial at 6 o'clock is inset within the small seconds indicator. The power reserve is 42-hours, and the 9.1mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical manual winding A. Lange & Sohne caliber 931.5 movement is Glashütte 3/4 plate in German silver, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 31 jewels, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance adjusted to temperature and 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. It has a swan neck micrometer regulator, a hand-engraved balance bridge, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
