This is the earlier version of the Black Bay Heritage with the workhorse ETA 2824 movement. While this is not an in-house movement, this engine is used in many watches and has a great reputation for reliability and accuracy. It can also be serviced outside of Tudor and financially, you will come out ahead using your own watchmaker (given he is a good one). This model is one of Tudor's run-away hits. Just Google it to see countless rave reviews on it. This one is selling at a reasonable price given that it has no box and the bracelet will need links for larger wrists. Then again, you can always throw it onto a NATO strap or leather watchband of your choice. I realize that this might not be ideal for people who want everything so it is priced accordingly for those looking for a lower cost of entry into the Tudor brand.Condition:This is a used watch, but it is not a beater. As you can see from the photos and video, it does not have many signs of wear. I will admit that it did have a few fingerprints that should have been wiped off before we took the photos, but looks great in person. The specifics are as follows:Case in great shape with no major gouges, scrapes or scratches. You can tell it has been worn, but with care. The case is brushed on the lug tops and mirror polished on the sides. The case is original and does not appear to have been refinished. This is a good specimen of the model. The bezel is perfect with no damage at all. It operates smoothly with a nice click. The over-sized big crown is a screw-down and locks and unlocks smoothly. The crystal is not chipped, cracked or scratched. There appears to be a anti-reflective coating that shows no signs of wear. There a a few minor marks from strap changes that are so minor the photos do not show them.Watchband is about as short as it can be and comes with only the links shown. It will fit someone with small wrists around 6.25", but extra links will have to be sourced for wrists over that. There is no box, papers or card. There are serial numbers on the watch case (J887776) and both end links of the FZ01 bracelet (95740).The movement is working at about +8 to +9 sec on the timegrapher. It has not been adjusted and I am unaware of the service history of the watch.A non-tapered leather watchband is included No service historyAuthentic and amazingDue to the value of this item, insurance and signature receipt will be required... thus the $50 USA shipping. Please contact me with any questions. Thank you.
