I'm reluctantly letting go of my PIECE UNIQUE Dornbluth & Sohn 99.3 Special Order. This is the 99.3 which include a seconds display (including the patented "quattro arret" feature, a date display, and AUF-AB power reserve. The watch is a piece unique in many ways. The case is specially ordered in white gold (Dornbluth stock models only come in stainless steel or rose gold), and comes with a Dornbluth white gold tang buckle. Not only the case is special ordered, the watch comes with TWO unique custom ordered dials, one absolutely gorgeous brown dial (with lumed indices) that changes colours in different lighting (see photos), and the other is a 4-part enamel dial. NO OTHER DORNBLUTHs COMES IN A BROWN DIAL. Dirk had confirmed he had never made a brown dial before. Furthermore, Dornbluth are reluctant to order enamel dials now because of their fragility and they are moving to lacquer dials. Hands and hour indices on this watch are lumed. The watch had a full service by Dornbluth in March 2016 (at the time of installation of the brown dial) and runs perfectly. The additional brown dial cost 1000 EUR to order. Here is a ONE OF A KIND with TWO dial options for less than that. The enamel dial would itself cost over 2k in today's cost. Don't forget Dornbluth normally have a long wait from order too and you don't have to wait for this one. Here is a ONE OF A KIND with TWO UNIQUE dial options for much less than the retail price.
