Up for sale is a rare antique 18 size Ball Hamilton 999D pocket watch. This watch was made in 1898 for the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and is all original apart from the case. It has a high grade Rail Road grade movement which has 17 jewels, and is in really great condition. It is in a very nice decorated gold filled case, which is in excellent condition. Movement: This watch runs great and keeps good time. The original high grade movement has 17 ruby jewels adjusted to 5 positions and temperature. It is lever set with a double roller, gold screw settings and gold balance weights! It has sapphire pallets and a special wavy damascening pattern.This beautiful movement is all original including even the balance which has the same serial number, and is in great condition! Dial: The original dial is in good condition, but has a chip repair in the center, and an edge flake and hairlines. Case: The 10k gold filled Keystone case is beautifully decorated and is in very good condition! It is not the original to this movement. The covers work just as they should. This is a really beautiful and special watch! This amazing watch is ready to carry or display.
