Interesting and unusual waterproof stainless steel chronograph. Three-body, brushed and polished, revolving bi-color bezel, screwdown case back. The large Aquastar-style stainless steel case houses a Valjoux Cal. 7736 and measures in at 39mm or 42mm including the oversize crown. 48mm lug tip to lug tip. Lug spacing is 19.5mm Unworn. Protective sticker is still on the back cover. Cal. Valjoux 7736, rhodium plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, mono-metallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, shock absorber. Movement has been cleaned and lubricated just for good measures and is running perfectly. Blue, luminous baton indexes, sunk subsidiary dials for constant seconds and 30-minute and 12-hour counter, outermost tachometer scale. Luminous baton hands.   This colorful chronograph is the perfect combination of fun, form, and function. With its bright blue dial and hot pink chronograph hand, it will certainly separate you from the rest. Very cool look with its blue and grey bakelite rotating bezel, blue dial with silver registers and a funky pink center chronograph hand. Dial & Hands are beautiful condition with all colors very crispy. Only one or two very small age related marks can be observed, hardly visible to the naked eye. The watch comes on a very nice matching blue vintage strap.   There is little known about the watch company Jacques Monnat – only that it was owned by Palmer Sales Corps, based in New York City. Some sources indicate that Jacques Monnat believed to have been a brand associated with Wakann.   I offer full guarantee on satisfaction but I do not issue partial refunds. Watch is theoretically waterproof. New seals were fitted recently but I cannot guarantee it to be still water tight at the age of well over 40 years. Please do not take it into water. Check out some of my other cool watches too! I am listing further fine watches over the next few days.
