Introducing RARE Wright Martin Aircraft Co. Award - 14k Solid Gold Leon Guinand Locle Split Second Chronograph Pocket Watch in Very Good working Condition .The watch second cover is engraved & reads : Presented to M.W.H. Wilson by Associates of Wright - Martin Aircraft Corporation May 1st. 1919 . Wright-Martin was a short-lived ( from 1916 to 1919 years ) aircraft manufacturing Company founded by Wright Brothers . Reformed as Wright Aeronautical ( 1919 to 1929 ) . Wright brothers are inventors, and aviation pioneers who are generally credited with inventing, building, and flying the world's first successful Airplane .The Present Pocket Watch use to belong to Mr. Wilson - Inventor of World 1-st Airplane. The Watch measure 48 mm. in Diameter excluding the steam. The White enameled Dial is excellent - no hairlines . Leon Guinand Brenets ,Locle reads on the Dial . Both Covers are marked 14K , and also there is a Swiss gold indicating hallmarks on the case / bezel . The Case is in Very Good Condition - no scratches ,no dents . Original Mineral Crystal has a minor scratch . The Hinges close very tight . The movement is serial No. 43012 and is marked Swiss Made Adjusted Leon Guinand Locle . Please Note : This watch is a special watch and have to be handle with professionals . The watch been in a Bank safe for a long period of time and is still working and I watched for couple hours keeping good time . We do not guarantee accuracy on Antique watches .
