The Bell & Ross BR01-92 Instrument Panel style watch with luminous Orange highlights was designed to meet the demands of men facing extreme situations who need optimum night readability from a watch. As with aircraft gauges, the yellow indexes contrast with the black background, thereby offering perfect legibility in all circumstances.
Limited Edition of 500 Units created worldwide. Collectible and hard to find! Self-winding mechanical movement. Meticulous finish. 21 jewels. 28,800 vibrations an hour. Power reserve: approximately 42 hours. High precision adjustment in 4 positions (tolerance of 0/+10 seconds a day). Functions: hours, minutes and seconds (all central hands). Hour setting with seconds stopped. Diameter 46 mm. Polished-satin stainless steel, steel glass bead blasted with black powder coating ("Carbon powder coating" type finish). Screw-in crown. Dial: black. Orange numbers and Index marks. Hands and index marks are covered with a layer of high luminescent painting for reading in the dark. Anti reflective sapphire crystal. Waterproof to 100 m (325 ft). Strap in leather, heavy duty synthetic fabric or rubber.
To create the BR 01 aviation watch, the designers drew inspiration from aeronautical instrumentation, the undisputed benchmark in terms of legibility and reliability. While Bell & Ross watches are extremely durable, the display boxes they provide are not. There is some pealing of the black material which is very common for these boxes.
