For information call Mauricio at 310.433-9293 From the basement of his home to a beautiful factory on the outskirts of Munich, German-born Gerd-Rudiger Lang founded his company, Chronoswiss, in 1983. His natural obsession with the mechanism of time led him to start his own watchmaking company; for decades Lang has restored exotic chronograph movements and even upgraded the already exquisite pieces to include further complications, earning him the nickname of “Mr. Chronograph.” From the debut of a regulator watch, the rattrapante chronograph, the creation of the Delphis watch, the Pathos watch, and the Tourbillon Regulation he has stunned the world with his accomplishments of skill and beauty which has led to many international awards. Chronoswiss has become an icon of Superior watch manufacturing that rivals elite Swiss brands, with their unique appearance and traditional hand craftsmanship. The featured watch is an Automatic, 18k Rose Gold Chronoswiss Repetition a Quarts. The Repetition a Quarts model deviates in both form and function from the numerous models developed before it by Chronoswiss, fascinating the observer with the soft sound of its strike train. Activated simply by pressing a button located on the left side of the case, two tiny hammers hit two gong springs wrapped around the movement first on each full hour, and then on every quarter of an hour. This watch features a 40 mm, 18k Rose Gold case with an automatic mechanical caliber C.126/Enicar 165 movement, sapphire crystal and a transparent case back to view its intricate movement. This particular watch is also the only Quarter Repeater on the market that is a Automatic and self-winding movement. The vintage-style regulator white dial has numeral minute markers, stunning blued steel hands at center and a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. Completing this piece is a black leather strap with a 18k Rose Gold Chronoswiss deployment buckle that is attached to the case with screws. This piece is also water resistance up to 30 meters. Personal Note--As a collector, I have always been fascinated by Repeaters... To me they are amazing and are by far my favorite complications.
