Particolare e raro Girard Perregaux Olimpico anno 1975 referenza 9238FA con splendido movimento Valjoux 72 / 6. Orologio facente parte della serie "olimpico" di GP ma prodotto in un brevissimo lasso di tempo, si quantificano un esiguo numero di pezzi prodotti. L'orologio si presenta in ottimo stato estetico con una cassa piena e satinata ha qualche segno dovuto dal tempo, la ghiera è in buone condizioni ben leggibile anch'essa con alcuni segni dovuti dal tempo. La corona di carica come il quadrante e le sfere con in condizioni perfette ancora col trizio e originali Girard Perregaux. Il movimento non credo abbia bisogno di presentazioni (Vlajoux 72), è pulito, marcia bene con scarti minimi, ho notato che talvolta le ore cronografiche fanno fatica ad azzerare per questo consiglio un revisione dal vostro orologiaio di fiducia . Ho comunque cercato di evedinziare tutto in foto. Rimango a disposizione per eventuali domande o dubbi. Movement: hand-wound Valjoux 72 diver/chronograph with column-wheel switching. Case: stainless-steel, ~42mm Ø. G-P offered a line of watches starting in the '60s thru the '90s, called "Olimpico" and ostensibly commemmorating the Olympic games, but never having any official affiliation or agreement. G-P ceased offering the line due to conflict with the International Olympic Committee over G-P's unlicensed use of the term "Olympic". This particular piece is a less-common variant with a "sterile" dial sans "Olimpico" branding -- with the more common Olimpico-signed dial. The "lume dot" on this one also has fallen out at some point in the last +30 years; here's with an original-condition bezel with lume dot still in place. This case design & movement combination was offered by a number of other brands -- from Wittnauer. The Olimpico's case proportions and shape are very similar to the later Heuer Autavia 1163 chronographs; however, as you can see from the 1163 has sharp edges on the case instead of the rounded features on the Olimpico.
