IN EXCELLENT CONDITION & PERFECT WORKING ORDER THE CASE A large and heavy four body engine turned open face case made and signed by Dennison ALD watch case company,Hallmarked Chester 1912,stamped 9.375 and serial numbered 47164.The engine turned rear cover has a central vacant cartouche.The inner gold cuvette is plain polished.all three covers hinged to open and close and the hinges are gold.It has a milled side band and a hallmarked top bow.Case condition The case covers are in mint condition without any dings or scratches,the engine turning and the cartouche are crisp sharp without any wear,the milled edge is deep without any pattern loss with one slight dent at pos 9 in the sideband. All covers open correctly to snap shut tightly and the hallmarked gold bow fits tight to the pendant without any wear.The case measures 53.6mm (approx 2.1 inches) and weighs 140.4 grams (approx 5 ozs) including movement.The case has no personal inscriptions and is original to the movement. THE DIAL & CRYSTAL A White enamel dial signed Waltham USA. With Bold black Roman numerals on raised outer chapter, blued steel spade' hands and an inset Arabic numeral subsidiary seconds dial at six.

THE MOVEMENT A 18 size keyless wound and pull to set Waltham lever,signed Crescent St Waltham Mass (otherwise known as model 92 variation 6-7) serial numbered 16036759 and worded 21 jewels,Adjusted 5 positions.Spec includes: Damaskeen pattern plates, 21 Jewels, adjusted to 5 positions, Double roller, Jewelling to the centre arbor with with endstone to the scape wheel,, jewels in gold settings with polished steel screws, club tooth steel escape wheel with straight line lever, oversprung with overcoil cut bi-metallic balance with double roller and Gold compensation screws,adjusted to temperature, isochronism and 5 positions, with blued steel balance spring and Ohlsen patent micro regulator on the balance cock with F-S engraved indexing on plugged variation balance cock.movement condition It is in very good clean condition without any scratch marks and good strong working order. The five adjustments are most likely made in the following five positions:Stem up,Stem at 3 o clock, Stem at 9 o clock, Dial face down and finally Dial face up.Since temperature variation is normally greater than positional variation, watches marked to be adjusted to positions also include adjustment to temperature. The Isochronism adjustment maintains accuracy of the watch both when the mainspring is fully wound up and when it is nearly run down.This was achieved by selecting a hairspring of exact proportions to cause the balance wheel to cause the balance wheel to give the same length of arc of rotation regardles
