A90   Founded in 1884 by Alfred Lugrin. Lemania specialized in the production of complications, specially chronographs. At the time this watch was produced, Lemania belonged, together with Omega and Tissot to the SSIH group The diameter of the round shaped metal chromed case with a screw stainless steel back case is 32,5mm not including the crown. Full length is 39,1mm. It is 17mm wide between the lugs. Specifics of this model: 1 - Vintage historical piece, not a recent re-edition 2 - Lemania high quality 1270 caliber, entirely designed and built in house by Lemania. 3 - Classic and solid watch case, yet very rare because of its small size .   The serial/ reference number in the back:  254   cosmetics dial: The original dial is in very good/excellent condition, almost perfect!  - see the pictures and make your own judgment. hands: the gold colored hands are in very good/excellent condition - see the pictures and make your own judgment. case:  It is in very good condition, with minimal signs of use -  see the pictures and make your own judgment. It is in very good condition, it has no ugly scratches, no cracking and no glazing. see the pictures and make your own judgment. The pushers: They are in very good condition. One of them is slightly longer than the other. see the pictures and make your own judgment. Inside the watch:  Swiss made, high end Lemania manual wind caliber 1270 Service history: Not recently serviced 1 - the case was re-chromed more than ten years ago. I don't recall if the movement was serviced or not at the same time. If it is not stated that the watch has been serviced recently you would better consider a revision by an expert watchmaker, no matter how good the test results may look. This applies to every vintage watch, not only this one. Working condition: Working very well. Starts when winding, there is no need to shake it. Runs very strong. Time setting and winding are both smooth. All the chronograph functions, start, stop and reset work fine. The chronograph was put to work for more than six hours and it has never stopped.  To get you a clearer picture of how the watch will behave, I do the following home testing: I manually wind the watch, even if the watch has automatic wind, and test it against a watch that I know is correct. For this I purpose I use a web page that provides the exact time. I check the deviation after 12 and 24 hours. The results for this watch   after 12 hours: -03  seconds  and after 24 hours:  -20 seconds This home test is not a warranty of repeatability or accuracy. Actually wearing the watch in the pulse will get you different results for sure. No matter how good the test results may look, the watch is sold as is, without any sort of warranty. Please note: 1 - The watch should not be used in the water! All diving watches, even recent, should be sent for a qualified water sealing service each year prior to diving season. 2 - Any acrylic or metallic display that might appear in the pictures is not included in the sale!
