HAMILTON RAIROAD POCKET WATCH 992 21 JEWELS GOLD Plated Accurate Excellent Condition for its age Double Roller Removable Front and Rear Covers Storage Case Antique Vintage This is a fantastic gorgeous HAMILTON RAILROAD POCKET WATCH. This could be the WORLD’S BEST EVER POCKET WATCH DESIGN. It has run accurately for a few days. If it is inaccurate over a long period of time, it can be adjusted inside… see the F||||||||||||S adjustment. This historic timepiece was given to me by my dear departed father, and to him by his father. I have only used it on a few occasions over the past 25 years. You just wind it up and it runs great. The back only has very minor scratches and signs of wear. The rest of the watch looks pretty much like new. It is so cool to unscrew the rear gold case, and show your friends the running movement. Its historical use by early American railroad men is an interesting point of conversation. The rare original case is included. I think it is ivory bakelite. It is padded and blue velvet lined. The hinge snaps properly into open or closed positions. It is gorgeous with art deco elements. It looks like there is a tiny bit of bakelite, and a velvet pad missing from the top. Otherwise, it shows minor signs of age and wear. The Hamilton foil hallmark on the front, and HAMILTON black lettering on the top look great.
