This J.E Caldwell pocket watch is beautiful. The watch/chain/links/knife is 12k gold filled. The watch itself could probably use a visit to a certified jewelers and have them give a look over and wind up. It it is in working condition,The watch is a very nice timepiece, also very valuable. The pocket knife is I'm fact detachable. The chain link is similar to a necklace, it has a clip on the watch end and a link on the knife end.
