Robert Brandt & Cie. Open faced pocket watch with Serbia’s coat of arms Robert BRANDT & Cie, Switzerland  Gold 18K (750 millièmes) slim open faced pocket watch. White-enameled dial with painted Roman numerals, index baton markers for minutes indication. Back with color-enameled decoration depicting the coat of arms for Prince Milos Obrenovitch I, Prince of Serbia (March 18, 1780 - September 26, 1860). Ground is engraved with the letter M in cyrillic and surmounted with royal crown. Internal cuvette signed: Robert Brandt & Cie. Numbered: 7278. Mechanical movement is not signed, winding key.  Work from First Half-19th Century  Diameter of case: approx. 4,3 cm (1-2/3 in.)  Overall weight: 40,6 gr. (1-2/5 oz.)  Slight accident on enamel. Missing winding keys.  Louis Brandt (1800-1866) was a watch maker and merchant in Chaux-de-Fonds (Robert Brandt & Cie).
