We are selling this Vintage Ladies DeWitt 17 Diamond 14K Solid Gold Mechanical Wind Watch. We believe it to be 17 jewels based on that number being on the dial, but we are not 100% sure. This watch is solid 14k gold, not gold plated or filled. It also features a total of 13 diamonds, each being approximately .02 carats each. Weighs: 36.2 grams total. It approximately fits a 6 or 6.25" wrist. It features what looks to be a florentine finish on the bracelet. It is stamped "14k" in three places; back of the case and both sides of the clasp. It also features a safety catch/chain. The door that opens to the face of the watch is spring hinged so it needs to be held open with your fingers in order to read the time. The dial is a silver color with gold markers. We manually wind the watch and can hear the watch ticking. The hour and minute hands move just as they should. It does keep time, we just don't know if its exact accurate time.Pre-owned watch. May show average signs of wear such as light scuffs/scratches. Typical wear for an old vintage watch. Nothing major.
