Joe P Wathier 14K Solid Gold Railroad Pocket WatchAmazing piece of history here, one of the premier private label railroad watches of the late 19th century.This watch is not working, movement appears to be in great condition, not sure what is wrong.Solid 14K case weighing a total of 62 grams. 1 5/8 outside diameter.Comes with original box and fob, both in great condition.Amazing attention to detail on the fob, little piece of turquoise with multiple carvings.Comes with original box also, everything in original condition, truly an amazing set!!This watch has been signed on the inside to J.P. Bit, Dec. 11 '88 (1888).The Wathier company was known for making the highest quality watches/movements for the railroad industry.The double hunter case has beautiful engravings and is in fine shape, just one tiny dent on the back that cant be photographed.There are several serial/patent numbers on the case, please see the photos. This is an antique that a collector will cherish for years to come.
