Here is a very nice solid 14K yellow gold Bulova self-winding men’s watch. The overall condition is very good. The round solid gold case is about 34.25mm diameter (ex-crown), 42mm lug end to end, 10.5mm thick including crystal and 17.5mm between the lugs. Original gold crown in good condition and functioning correctly. The back cover is signed BULOVA / 14K GOLD /Shock Resistant / Waterproof / Self Winding / Anti-Magnetic and case # G955073. The “M4” below the case # indicates the watch dates from 1964. As with Bulova watches of that era, the back cover is secured by a screw down stainless retaining ring. The case has not been polished and shows normal light use marks – nothing serious. The 17-jewel Swiss automatic movement is in excellent condition, runs like a top and keeps good time. While Bulova USA made many of their own movements, the 17-jewel movements were Swiss origin. The movement is signed Bulova Watch Co. with movement # 11AFAC and "M3" for the date of manufacture.
The original Bulova white cross-hair dial is in very good to excellent condition. While not a pie-pan dial it suggests that style with the slightly darker outer edge. Gold dagger markers at the hours and Bulova imprinted at 12. Gold bayonet style hour & minute hands and straight gold center seconds hand; all in good condition. Domed acrylic crystal is in good shape; few light use marks that could be buffed out if you desire. New old-stock regular length black Bulova genuine lizard strap with gold tone pin buckle. Fits up to 7 ½ inch wrist. I guarantee it’s an authentic Bulova... and a lovely watch at that! Ships in generic jewelers box; original papers have been lost to time. Free shipping within USA.
